Everything I’d like in a planner but...

I have looked for a near to perfect plannner/organiser/diary for about the last 6 years. Every thing I’ve tried so far has either been lacking something or has been too much for me. I have tried all the bright floral or blotchy swishy paint ones with lots of dividers & sections inspirational quotes that are rediculous serve no purpose only to make it look like it has more pages & remind you to ‘live laugh & love’ or ‘be beautiful, your own version & we’ll pretend we accept you” I’ve tried the old filo fax route which I found annoying & the paper isn’t up to much. I like an A5 book or ring style book with squares or dots to keep me neat, never lined & i don’t mind filling it it. Bit of space for some doodling & notes etc, that’s all. On paper, this seemed like it could be what I was looking for. It arrived the day after ordering, Packaged well. Opened to find it smaller that I expected, that is my fault, the sizes are in the listing it’s juat the photos show people holding it & it looks a5. Anyway, the pages are lovely quality & nice & crisp, the grid is nice & clear & iently marked out so you don’t have to sit counting squares to get even boxes. It seemed nice to write in. I use either pencil or a mega thin micron/uni fine liner that’s all. I did however use a nude coloured Crayola felt tip to put 3 bullet points in & to highlight a date & it has bled right through a couple of pagesAs has the fine liner I used. Then filling in the dates whilst out flat, the spine cracked & now looks like it’s a really old book. Im not best pleased really, I’ve had to stick it loosely together with loads of Washi tapes & hope my husband doesn’t catch sight of it cos I’ll be getting the old ‘I told you so’ speach. He doesn’t understand my stationery needs. I wanted to go for the paperways one but it was out of stock. If you do choose iconic , just be careful, it’s lovely looking but a little fragile. Fox and star though, can’t fault
